Hi Cindy,
It may a trigeminal nerve thing but you would have to ask the doc. My side effects are ALL trigeminal numbness and pain, though today is so far pain-free. My tongue feels swollen (right half) but it isn't really. (Also can't feel gums, teeth, etc, unless they are active and then I feel burning) I generally feel like I have a gauze roll in my mouth! Hoping all will pass in time. I'm about 4 weeks ahead of you but getting better every day.
All best,
Marci

I have no pain in the tongue or that area in general .My tongue is deviated(crooked) & when i stick it out it points to the left.i have read this indicates nerve weakness on the left side.
i slur my wording after being upright for any lenght of time.I also have a shooting pain from left back fo my head down through shoulder blade.I can taste fine.lucky!!!
