Duct tape can fix anything !! ... I keep a small roll with me in my safety kit ... when I'm out kayaking ... to fix any cracks or leaks or emergency stitches if I hook myself bad....

I think the duct tape holding this thread together was generic and let go splitting the thread
in two  :o


When I started seeing my regular doctor about 13 or 14 years ago and he gave me the first good once
over he saw a the dimple of my self repair job and almost had some kind of fit ... he wanted to scan it but
when I told him I had done it about 10 years before he decided it probably was fine but made me promise
to not use duct tape on my self again... I crossed my fingers and gave him my word  :)
