I am set on going to Stanford DR Chang for CK I was wondering is there anybody really good on the east cost that you would use. It would be much easier for me and my family but I want someone who has a ton of experience with CK thanks for the help

The four doctors listed at the cyberknife support website are in Oklahoma, Florida, Missouri, and California - Dr. Chang being the one in California. I would consider all of them to be excellent, and if I had my choice, I would pick Medbery in Oklahoma, because he is a lively person on the CK forum, and I would like to meet the man.

There are also good reports from Boston (Beth Israel, I think), Georgetown University in DC, and others on the east coast. The Accuray site has a locator:

Take your pick...

I think Georgetown is the most experienced CK center on the east coast. They've been using CK since 2002 and installed a second CK last summer. I understand they've done 50-60 AN treatments, so still just a fraction of what Stanford does. From what I can tell they did a good job on mine though. Here's a link to their CK page: http://www.georgetownuniversityhospital.org/body.cfm?id=451 (http://www.georgetownuniversityhospital.org/body.cfm?id=451)

Hi Rocky,
I had my CK done at Beth Israel in Boston, as Steve :) noted. That was done 2 yrs ago and my AN is just about dead, based on the last MRI. Sheryl, a wait/watch on this site, also knows them at Beth Israel as her husband, last October, was treated with CK for his meningioma. Dr. Arnand Mehatevan is a great radio-oncologist and very in tune to AN's.... Their link:

Steve also provides a terrific link for Accuray, to find other CK centers around.
Hope this helps.

I also went to Georgetown and so far all is well. I contacted multiple centers in the southeast and Stanford before deciding on Georgetown. I'm from SC and it would have been a financial hardship to travel to CA.
Even though this center had not done many ANs, I was very impressed with the responsivieness of the radiation oncologist - Dr. Allison Grow in Jacksonville, FL. She was a resident in training at Stanford and performed CK there. I'm also a fan of Dr. Medbery's on the CK forum. His knowledge along with that sense of humor helped me greatly.
