Hi everyone, Could anyone let me know the approximate cost in US dollars (no insurance ) for cyber knife treatment of a relatively small AN. I live in Canada ( Vancouver Island ) and would consider Seattle or Stanford , unless anyone could recommend another location. Thanks Mikey

When I added up all my bills start to finish (dr. consults, scans, treatments, etc.) the total billed to insurance was over $90,000. I think after the insurance company adjusted everything it was in the $50,000-$60,000 range that was actually paid. Not sure how it would correlate to self-pay, but that's where mine ended up.

For my GK, what they billed the Insurance (but probably not what they got) was $66,000.00 and change.

I don't know much about cyber knife or why it is so expensive, but here in Frankfurt Germany the cost estimate for what they call MRI mapping and Gamma Knife treatment last year was quoted to me as EURO 9,600 about $15,000. That doesn't include followup MRIs.
Good Luck in your search.

This in an old topic, but I think that it is en interesting theme.
Here, in Switzerland, the GK traitment is without night stay in the hospital - only from 7:00 AM to 17:00 PM.
The whole thing costed about 17'000 CHF, which is 18'000 $.

I had cyberknife in Germany. It was 17500 euro in 2010. It included a planning CT Scan and lifelong follow up via email or phone

It is around 500,000 JPY(4,000 USD) in Japan for GK. CK is 630,000 JPY for whole session and it appies the patient who does not have social insurance in Japan like visitor or foreigner example. Bed cost are excluded for both.
