The hospital just called. I need to be there at 6:00 AM. It's over a one hour drive so I probably won't bother with going to bed tonight. I wouldn't be sleeping anyway. I swear I'm more nervous about this procedure than I was about the original AN surgery.

Gotta say you have nothing to worry about, no\little pain and over in just a hr at best, you will be fine, for me the most pain I had was getting the IV as I am not a good pin cushion anymore. Best of luck!!

You'll do fine! This is an easy one compared to the one you've already done. I know it's hard not to be nervous when it's your own head that's involved, but try to get some sleep tonight.
Let us know how it goes! We'll all be thinking of you!

BEST of luck, Catflower! We'll all be awaiting an update. Remember to ... breathe!
Debbi - up in 23 days...

this is SUCH exciting news!!!
Like David and Lori said, you'll do great. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping that all goes well :)
I'm also curious to see what kind of "hat" you have post op - the very popular "beret" or the very stylish "cake string" LOL
Did you remember to put your surgery on the treatment calendar ??

Just think...it HAS to be better than what I just had done...however, you may have weird things in your head, I still win hands down for the most creative "make-up" job!!
You'll do fine -- I'll say extra prayers for you!

I just added it. I had to find the link because I had completely forgotten about it. Can you imagine someone who has had AN surgery forgetting something :o

I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! I'm sure you will do great.

Wait, what was the question again ???
Ever since my AN surgery, I have this memory issue LOL

Are you guys serious about having memory issues with the AN? I certainly can't afford to loose anymore of what I have (memory loss)!
-
But on the bright side, at least you will have a legitimate excuse for forgetting things. Blame it all on the AN - it can't be your fault, right? It works for me. I think. I can't remember....

Wow I must be weird, after the AN surgery my memory got sharper, never forget anything.....guess I am a odd bird....
-
Ohio Also -
my only memory issues are due to getting older and having too much to remember at the moment (aka a stressful life).
I can't attribute any memory problems to my AN or my AN surgery. I have found that since surgery my brain works faster than both my mouth and my fingers. I can think faster than I can type and faster than I can speak these days. I have learned to type and then re-read and edit before I post. I also frequently use words that I don't mean to use when speaking. I know what it is I want to say, but sometimes something completely different comes out of my mouth ???
I've heard from others on this forum, that neither of these situations is unusual after surgery.

I get yesterday and tomorrow confused and left and right (people have to look at which way I am pointing!!), but I always thought that was more of a "stroke" thing for me! I am definitely more forgetful...
