Title: BAHA Surgery
Post by: Catflower on April 02, 2008, 06:53:12 am
I had my preadmission testing done yesterday.  I'm good to go for the implant on April 8th.  I'm praying that I don't get an infection this time around.

Wonderful news, Catflower! I'm so excited for you!!!

I, too, hope that you don't get an infection, I can't imagine it's much fun  :(

Mind if I ask what kind of preadmission testing you had done?  I didn't have to have any.

I'm almost 30 days post op and my BAHA site is looking good.  Going to the doc's today to see if he agrees  :)
I'm also looking to get a little advice from him on my itching - it's not as bad as it was, but it's still there.

I'll put the 8th on my calendar,

Jan

I had to have blood work which is probably due to the fact that I am on Humira and that can affect my
white blood count.  I had to have an EKG which is probably due to my age of 61.  That was all I had done.
