I READ SOMEONE'S POST THAT SAID THAT HER DAUGHTER MADE TEARS BUT HER DOCTOR SAID SHE STILL NEEDED DROPS TO PROTECT HER CORNEA. MY EYE WATERS CONSTANTLY AND NEVER GETS RED. I CAN'T IMAGINE PUTTING DROPS IN AN ALREADY WET EYE?

My optomitrist told me my eye is watering or is wet because it is trying to keep itself lubricated. This is a sign of dry eyes and when I started using GenTeal Gel this problem stopped. Come to think of it, I am not using this product anymore as of two months ago. Seems my dry eye I had post surgery has cleared up. Hope you find the same.

My eye makes tears but they're useless b/c my eye doesn't blink - they just build up on the lower lid rim, then run down my face,
so I need to keep my eye lubricated (every 2-3 hours it seems) even though I make tears, to protect the cornea.

Yes- the "gel-tears" - or many of them, are rather thicker than
conventional human tears - and the night stuff is more like a grease
this will counter a slow-blink-rate (or manual blink)
(because they last longer, in place ?)
best to apply it all ,regular, as advised,
- until a doc reccommends you can stop
Best Regards
