Title: What is the thumbs-up icon?
Post by: Tumbleweed on January 26, 2008, 09:41:22 pm

I've noticed one topic has a thumbs-up icon in one of the columns (where topics are listed). What is this and who posted it there? The moderator? Does it mean the moderator thinks it's an important post? Or does it simply indicate loss of thumb-nerve function, a newly discovered symptom of AN? ;D Lol.

No special meaning.. the poster can pick any icon  they wish to use!

The 'thumbs up' icon usually indicates a positive post and/or a reply to a positive post, i.e. "my last MRI showed no growth" .  That's how I use it.  I assume most posters do something similar.  I think it's a good idea, but, as Joef stated, it's optional - users choice.
