Willi,

I know of one lady in the Stanford CPSG that was treated for a meningioma and experienced some minor hair loss ( temporary) . Meningioma's are usually located closer to the scalp which probably accounts for her reaction. I am not aware of any AN patients that had hair loss as a post treatment reaction. If you are concerned with that issue , it might be worthwhile to pose the question on the doctors message board over on the CPSG site and see what answer you get.

Windsong,

The Cyberknife patient support group site ( CPSG) can be fond at www.cyberknifesupport.org . you can also get to it from a link on the CK society site at www.cksociety.org

Hi Willi
Never, in several years at groups, have I heard of hair loss from GK. The CK support group may be interesting but it is a different radiologic procedure.
  Take care!
