I was discharged from the hospital 16 days after AN surgery. I spent 8 days in one hospital and 8 days in-patient rehab at another hospital. When I got the rehab they told me I'd be there at least two weeks and I said very emphatically "I'm going home for my birthday"!!! And I did!
