hey all,
I survived I think. Just got home from the hospital - was kept for a few days due to a bout of pneumonia - that pretty much sucked. The only think I can think is that it was real cold the last few days before and I was going for long walks to get my mind right. I had the slightest sniffle but not a cold by any means.
so here are the details.
Mid fossa surgery left side.12mm an causing balance issues and no loss of hearing.
they were only able to remove about 40 percent as it was stuck up against the facial nerve. Hearing is intact, face is fine, I have got some cool staples in my head and now the doc wants to explore ck radiation. He actaully made the decision mid surgery that my case was probably a better ck case than to risk the facial nerve. He said it was really attached.
But I am thankful to be a postie, looking forward to getting this weight off my chest so I can breathe easier when I am lying down.
Peace to all.
Tomas
