Hey there fellow AN'ers!!
Would any Virginia AN'ers be interested in a greet/eat/caffeine intake meet? I live in Newport News, I know we have AN'ers in VA Beach, and Williamsburg, and I believe we may have some in the Richmond area. Is anyone interested in meeting? If so we could work on meeting somewhere in the middle (Williamsburg)? I'm open for any suggestions.

GM, what are the chances for DC area? I'd be willing to fly to DC (easy/cheap flights in/out of Boston).

I live in Florida but my daughter lives in Virginia Beach. I visit her often so I would be interested in attending if it is planned for a date when I will be in the area.

Thanks for the replies...I'm trying to get in touch with a fellow AN'er in Wiliamsburg. I think that will be a good middle ground for everyone to meet.. stay tuned!

Update... :)
I heard from Rick...a fellow AN'er in Williamsburg. He found a coffee shop: "in a historic area, Aromas Coffee Shop, 431 Prince George Street. It is 1 block from the main street in the historic area. It is about 5 miles from I54 exit 238 (Camp Peary exit) and is easy to find." (ecept from his email I recieved the other day)
I asked Rick to check into hotels for those that are traveling a good distance that might want to stay the night...

We’re almost there! We have a spot: Aromas Coffee Shop, 431 Prince George Street. It is 1 block from the main street in the historic area. It is about 5 miles from I54 exit 238 (Camp Peary exit) and is easy to find.
And Rick found some hotel info for those who are traveling in…so they can take an extra day or two to see the area…see below:
Part of Colonial Williamsburg (expensive) The Woodlands, Governor's Inn, Williamsburg Lodge From the following link you can enter the date, number of people and so and it will list all the hotels available during the time frame you want, with prices and amenities. I would recommend posting this link for people. This gives them an excellent choice from expensive to budget and no hotel in Williamsburg is far from the historic area. Also, they can book other attractions if the are making a mini-vacation.

Now we just need some suggested dates to meet so we can get together. I want to thank Rick for taking the time to investigate a place and places to stay for us….thanks Rick! Please email me here at my ANAUSA address with your suggested dates...thanks!
