I will assume that he will get stronger & stronger everyday.
Thanks so much for letting us know Mrs. Rebarman.
Taking care of him & yourself comes first but try to keep us informed if at all possible.

I am getting better each day. I did manage to send off 2 whole emails :) (1 to Kathy) before my "tolerance" had been used up last night. Got home about 6:00pm on Sat. and have spent a good portion of the time since then in the bed, the barcalounger, or as a pinball bouncing off the hall walls between the 2.
Thanks to each and every one of you for being there for me last week. Because of you and this site I had a good idea of what would happen and how the week would turn out. Because of you, I wasn't very far off on how I percieved it was going to be and how it actually turned out. Thanks again for being there.
I have the usually dizziness when I move too fast, I have a slight amount of left facial droop that will go away, and I have finally found out what everybody means when they say the worst cooks that have ever been found on the face of the earth all work in hospitals. :)
I will post more as time and energy permit, but I am on the other side and opening fast on the road to recovery.

rebarman, wow! You are doing fabulous.... what's the song from the Christmas tv cartoon, "Santa Claus is coming to town"?????
put one foot in front of the other... and soon, you'll be walking out the do-oo-or...."
Hang in there! Continued wishes for a speedy recovery! :)

Hey rebarman!!
I told one of the nurses that my dinner was the worst hotdish I had ever had in my life. I said it tasted the same as the breakfast pancakes......like crap. She reminded me that my taste could be altered??? Altered was not the word for it.
Food tasted altered but much better when I got home.
How is your taster?

Rebarman,
I am so verry happy that all is going well. I expect you will be growing stronger everyday.
My wife and I have our first appt. with Dr. Olson in 1 week and then Dr. Mattox in 2 weeks.
Like you I have found their reputation to be about the best of any Dr.s in this field.
Keep up the good work and try to keep us informed of your progress.
