Well my big day is Wednesday at 10:30am, and I'm feeling pretty calm about it. I just really wanted to thank everyone on this discussion forum for taking the time to post there experiences, and helping people like me prepare for ours. I'm not a guy that's easily shaken, but the thought of someone cutting into my head had me pretty concerned. Reading posts on this discussion forum really helped me to prepare mentally. I'm flying to the Bay Area tomorrow morning with my beautiful wife, and surgery is Wednesday morning. Dr. Jackler and his team at Stanford Med Center will be taking out my 4mm x 8mm AN by Middle Fossa. I'll make sure I update and stay active on this site as a way of showing my appreciation. I truly hope it helps to ease someone else's anxiety. If you read this post please send some good vibes to Palo Alto California.
Much love,
Lou Schiavone

Lou,
I'm sending good "luck" and calmness over the mountains, from afar. (an hour from where you will be in Palo Alto) Yes, everyone there was so kind to me and professional, we know you will be back and with us soon. I know what you mean about this forum. It is nice to have people who do understand and can help with questions where, you can't just call up a doctor everytime you think of a new question.
You have my best wishes,
Palace

My best wishes, and even more importantly, my confidence in Stanford go with you!!!
I had CK there in October and so impressed with their expertise AND their holistic treatment of you as a PERSON not just and object of treatment.
You are in good hands.
