Title: The journey . . .
Post by: GaryWNT on June 26, 2016, 12:08:03 am
Brief overview:
Had CK at Stanford in November with Dr. Chang & Dr. Hancock.
Very unremarkable post CK up to first 6 month MRI. Stable tumor, no hemorrhage or leaks.
Balance moderately off, but okay. Hearing stable.
Two weeks ago, sudden lightheartedness, extreme fatigue, no energy or motivation. Balance more off. Went for blood tests, endoscopy, colonoscopy, exploring all possible reasons but everything comes back normal. So, what to think about this and what to do . . . after feeling so good, now beginning to feel a bit depressed . . .
Thoughts?
Gary

I don't have first hand knowledge on radiation, but I read on this forum, after radiation the tumor swells in the process of dying.   The tumor cells may take in more water, while they die (not sure??).  I understand this may take up to two years and while the tumor swells, your symptoms may become worse.

I would think you should go back to Dr. Chang and Hancock.  They may want to order an MRI.
