Title: Any Airline Pilots out there with AN?

Hi,

I am an airplane pilot who has just recently been diagnosed with a 2cm AN tumor.  I was wondering if any other airline pilots are out there and if they wouldn't mind contacting me.  I am pursuing radiation treatment (Gamma Knife) and would like to hear back from someone who can tell me how long they were out from flying and what they had to do to get their medical certificate back.

Google "airline pilots with acoustic neuroma" and you'll come up with a variety of information sources.

You can also search right here on this forum in the upper right-hand search box for pilot and it will pull up posts about or by pilots.
