Well it's been 3 years since I had gamma knife and I am doing well. Hearing loss, tinnitus and some balance issues but otherwise have adjusted to my new normal. I had a physical recently and my PMD was asking questions about my hearing and at one point asked what my ENT said. I don't see an ENT, only my neurosurgeon on an annual basis. My PMD seemed surprised by this. So now I'm wondering is it common to also see an ENT on a routine basis especially after treatment?
Thanks,
Upstate

I'm 5 years post GK and have not been back to the ENT since diagnosis, 5 years ago. I get a report back from the neuro after regular scheduled MRI's and he is the one that sets up the following MRI schedule. I do believe that my MRI reports are sent to my family doctor and the ENT also but I have never had any follow ups with them about it.

It's optional.
I haven't seen my ENT in the three years since I was diagnosed although I send him an email when it's time for the next MRI and he puts through the order. After the MRIs he gets the results.
I haven't seen my neurosurgeon in 2 1/2 years since my first follow-up after GK but I send him my MRI images after each one.
I figure as long as the MRIs look good the status quo is fine.
