It will be a month from now but Dr. Slattery at the House Clinic will remove my intracochlear schwannoma then, along with the surrounding stuff for thoroughness. He said I won't need the attendance of a neurosurgeon because the bone seperating brain and cochlea will be kept in place, and the prognosis seems good.
I'm scared I admit because I haven't had surgery of any kind since I was a small child (and it was a bad experience; I woke up partway through having my tonsils removed decades ago). I'm glad it's happening and that my coverage was enough.
I just wanted to express that. Advice, tips, well-wishing, and other things are welcome. :)

Dr. Slattery is the best. He was very thorough on explaining everything to me and he was very positive. It seems my surgery went as well as they had hoped. You are in very good hands!
I"m glad your insurance worked out!
