tony i think thats a great idea, we need to have some AN awareness happening,
i think you are the perfect person to write a book on all of this.
you have been through a lot and have come back very well, you also seem to have
a great, fair, knoweldge of everything involved with ANs.
I say Go For It !

I just checked out Amazon.com for any books on Acoustic Neuroma. There are textbooks etc...but nothing about personal experiences. I do not know anyone who has written a book. Darn it. I wouldn't know where to start. What a great idea Scott. Kathy

I think thats a great idea .. lets face it tho, the "AN" market is not very big ..
look to see if there are any other books on after surgery experiences, you might get some good ideas...

There's a book, "I Had Brain Surgery, What's Your Excuse" by Suzy Becker that recounts her pre- and post-op experiences -- I'm not sure what kind of tumor she had. I read it before I had my AN surgery and found it informative, useful, and funny.

I believe the book Staypoz references is about AN surgery but don't trust my memory enough to be positive. I do recall reading in the Sept ANA newsletter about a lady from GA writting a book regarding her AN surgery. Don't have it with me now or I'd put the name of the book in here - sorry.
