Hi, Errol ~

Welcome.  I'm sorry about your AN diagnosis but I hope we can help you through the doctor/facility selection process, using our member's experiences.

If you could post your geographical location it would help respondents to focus on facilities/doctors that are convenient to you or at least within reasonable traveling distance.  Thanks.

Jim

I'm sorry that you're part of our AN club....but you couldn't have asked for a more caring and knowledgeable bunch.

I had my AN treated by Gamma Knife at the University of Virginia, I was very satisfied with my treatment process and follow up.  It has been 10 years since my treatment and they still track my progress and read my MRI's.  I am very happy with my results.  I still have useable hearing in my AN ear, and my tumor is FINALLY starting to show signs of shrinkage.  (Praise the Lord)

Remember that results can and do vary depending on AN size, location and ....well....AN.  I wish you the best.

Gary

Some of the Doctors/clinics I looked into are as follows:

House Clinic, Los Angeles

Standford University (Dr. Chang) - Cyber Knife

University of Pittsburgh - (Dr. Lundsford)

Good luck, and never hesitate to ask more questions and post, that's what we are here for!
