Title: Waiting for MRI to be scheduled
Post by: Emp113 on October 24, 2013, 03:17:47 pm
Hello. I'm new to the forum and do not know if I have an AN or not. I am waiting for my doctor to schedule the MRI. I have some decreased hearing in my left ear on high frequencies along with ringing and a feeling of fullness in that ear. I also get head and neck aches on that side. My doctor says he really doesn't think there is anything to be concerned about but wants the MRI just in case... Such a stressful thing, waiting to find out if there is something wrong of not. And if they do t find anything, why the symptoms and am I going to keep loosing my hearing!? I'm 49 yrs old. So not so young but not so old either  >:(

Welcome to the site.

If you have an AN you'll get a lot of support and useful information here.

But you won't know until you know.

Had MRI this morning. They did not give me a disk but said my doctor should have the results within 24 hours so I should hopefully hear something tomorrow.

Well, here's hoping that you don't have one.
