Title: Post CK MRI
Post by: terisandler on August 01, 2013, 06:34:02 pm
Well, tomorrow morning I will have my first follow up MRI since completing CK!  Next Friday I'll take my MRI CD to the radiation oncologist.  Hoping for some sign that the CK was effective...

Why wait?

Put the CD on your computer and go through the images. You'll know it when you see it.

I had my 6 month MRI yesterday, and looked at the images as soon as I got the CD home.

One of the first things I did when I got home was check out the CD on my MacBook.  To my untrained eye it looks larger with some dark spots.  So, unless I am quite mistaken, the CK appears to be working.  I recently began experiencing some increased balance issues and lightheadedness, which seems to go with the theme of the CK doing its thing.

Same here. I'm using the following set of images as a yardstick for monitoring ALF's progress:

My 6 month post GK MRI looks similar to image B.

So, unless I am quite mistaken, the CK appears to be working.

Subject to the opinions of my doctors (and yours) it appears that the death of our intruders is proceeding as expected.

I recently began experiencing some increased balance issues and lightheadedness

So far, I have not (knock on wood) experienced any adverse symptoms
