Can't find the thread where I was already reading about this. I found an interesting article posted on the British Tinnitus Association web site. It explains the various reasons someone might experience this, not always AN related.

Hi Kathleen,
If you are on the forum home page, so a "Search" (located on the top/right of the screen) and type "pulsating tinnitus." I found many threads noted..... as example:

Hope this helps.

Hi;
The latest issue of "Hearing Health Magazine" by the "Hearing Health Foundation". See, "Current Issue".
I'm unsure if pulsatile tinnitus is addresed specifically as haven't had time to read it, but, tinnitus sufferers may benefit from the publication.

I just took a quick look at the magazine and it has a lot of good information in it. I would recommend taking a look at it if you're interested in learning more about tinnitus.

I have not been able to find the right specialist to investigate the causes. The doc who did my GK was not convinced that my AN and pulsatile tinnitus are connected. But I haven't found a doctor who can find any other cause, despite my efforts. It's a daily struggle to live with as it affects my sleeping and thinking. Some days are better than others, but it remains troubling to me.
