OK-now I'm starting to get nervous....
-
Hi Jeanne,
Stay calm. The hardest part is probably making the decision you've already made. I know we're all dealing with different circumstances, and no two AN cases are alike, but for what it's worth, I had GK just yesterday and I feel very confident that I made the correct choice. You can read my brief overview of my GK experience that I posted yesterday, but as of today, I am feeling quite well. A bit fatigued, but I expect that by tomorrow I will be back to full strength. My most anxious time was leading up to the evening just before the procedure, but once I arrived at the hospital, I gave myself over to the team of physicians and supporting staff that seemed so very confident in what they were doing from beginning to end. If I can answer any questions you might have about the process, please don't hesitate to contact me on-line, or by PM.
Be well,
Petrone

The worst is behind you; the research & decision making.

Thanks to all-I don't know what I would do without this support group...Petrone, I'll be following your posts... :)

Good luck! I hope everything goes great for you. You've made a really big decision and that in itself is difficult and takes courage. Also sending positive energy your way for May 7!

Being nervous is normal, I sure was. Let the nurses know that you are especially nervous and they will do everything possible to make you comfortable; I sure did and had a great experience.
Will be thinking of you on May 7 (while I am having a drink with an umbrella in it as I will be in Puerto Vallarta).
You will do fine!

Thanks! will be thinking of you on the beach & wishing I were there! :)

No worries.
GK is a walk in the park.
During a blizzard.
(Just kidding - it's that sense of humor everybody keeps telling me about.)
You'll do fine.
