I don't know if you have a CF leak or not. I did have a leak that started the day after surgery and it was from my nose, not the ear. Mine did resolve on its own, but it took more than 2 weeks to stop completely. It stopped as suddenly as it started.
The statistics I have seen on CSF leaks after AN surgery indicate that those that do not resolve on their own respond well to conservative measures, so there is no automatic need for any reoperation.
See what your physician says before assuming there is a problem with spinal fluid leaking. No need to freak out without more information. Good luck
