Has anyone else had the silver lining gift of completely resolved motion sickness by AN surgery? I used to get motion sick standing on a dock and watching a ship go up and down on the water. Now, nothing. Planes, boats, cars on winding roads, even helicopters. It's amazing and wonderful and by far the best part of the ordeal.

Yeah, Matt! ;D
>>Has anyone else had the silver lining gift of completely resolved motion sickness by AN surgery?<< Yes, it seems so. (I'm only 16 days post-surgery.) Prior to surgery, AN-triggered vertigo and resultant motion sickness was part of my daily reality. Some days were just awful. I had some pretty bad nausea for a couple days after surgery but no motion sickness the past two weeks. My recalibration to one-side vestibular is going great.
Onward and upward!

Good for both of you!
I'm on the other side of this coin, never had motion sickness till several months after cyberknife. Guess it's just part of the package. ???

Karen,
Sorry to hear that! I can honestly say that the loss of motion sickness has been, by far, the most positive thing that came out of my surgery.

Yeah!! That's one way of turning lemons into lemonade! For Myself, I am waiting for something awesome to happen to me, like super mental powers or something...:)

Matt ~
I didn't have motion sickness pre-surgery but I couldn't lie on my back and look up without getting nauseatingly dizzy. Post-surgery I can lie on my back and look up with no problem at all. Apparently, our respective ANs caused varying individual problems that removal of the tumor resolved. Definitely a pleasant 'bonus'.
