Post by: keithmcgowan on January 11, 2013, 02:37:21 pm
What cyberknife center is considered the best in treating acoustic neuromas in the U.S.
"Best" meaning most skilled and perform the most cyberknife procedures.

Thanks

Not sure if it's considered "the best" - but Stanford (Dr. Chang) is the place I've seen the most about on the Forum.

Stanford is certainly the most experienced, and the vast majority of teams at facilities getting a CK train both at Accuray and Stanford. that said, I would be comfortable going to almost any CK facility as most have extensive experience with machines like GK and others

Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix has an Acoustic Neuroma Center with Cyber Knife, Gamma Knife, and surgical facilities.

I had Gamma Knife there. My doctors were Porter, Weisskoph, Brachman.

Hi;

  St. Anthony's at Oklahoma City and Dr. Medberry have good experience. Personally, I prefer Dr. Chang at Stanford, however.
