Does anyone have pain when eating anything large like a bread roll or an apple, this has only just started and it's like a sharp burning pain behind my ear and along my jawbone?
-
No pain here.

Thanks for your reply. I've a checkup with the surgeon in 3 weeks think I'll memtion it. I'm a bit worried as when I had a BAHA fitted I was told they had to seal a large vein from where I had the tumour taken out just hope it's nothing to do with that.

PamJ - Due to facial palsy, I don't actually chew on that side but just had a go and it does hurt. I've had a lot of surgeries on that side so please don't compare with me. LOL
If you're in the slightest concerned please see your doctor.

Yep! My eye waters at the most inconvenient times and when eating I make sure I have a soft tissue with me.
My ear is about 1/2 an inch lower and my eye and eyebrow is also skewiff from the good one.
Here's a pic of me that is pretty close to what I look like today.

You can 'talk' to me anytime of the day or night. Just inbox me or email and I'm a good listener. There are also a wonder mob here to hear/read our thoughts too. I'm so glad that I found this site (post op) so I knew what I was feeling was normal. LOL

Hi Suu just been looking at your photo my eyebrow is the same as yours my sister is coming over tomorrow to show me how to download photos on to my computer so I'll put one on here so you can see what I mean but unfortunately my eyeball has dropped and am waiting to have it sewn back in place so with my wonky mouth as well I'm not looking my best. But the way I'm looking at it is at least I'm tumour free. Seeing as you live in Australia could you send some of your sun over to England to cheer me up.

Are you going to have a facial sling done or any other surgery to your eye in the near future?

Pam ~
Find the image you wish to post or put an image you have on your computer in a 'photobucket' file you've created. Then, on the message screen, click on the 'image' link on the far left of the upper screen (second row) and insert the 'address' of the image. Once you've done that, the image should appear on the message screen. Here's an example using an image I copied from a random internet photo site.

I hope this helps. :)
