I am home today- not even 4whole days in hospital. Hearing pretty good. Alittle tinny and fullness but hoping to be better after steroids are finished next week. Very slight drop on smile but should be temporary. Balance still wobbly but am confident with therapy starting in a few weeks ill be great. Got to remember to take it slow and allow myself to rest and rely on the support of those around me. Overall so glad I did it got out whole tumor and if he would have waited much longer the tumor would have attached to facial nerve. So so great full and can't say enough wonderful things about dr. Boockvar and dr.brown at Weill Cornell. Now I'm a postie!

Yay Blags! Thank you Lord, for good news! I hope you have a sure and steady recovery! I am nervous about my surgery next week. I have trans-lab October 17th at NYU. I have hearing loss and I accept that but I am really hopimng the head fullness goes away. Lately, I went to two ANA meetings, and one made me feel pretty good about my decision but another has me worried I need to rethink? Thank you so much for your update. I am thinking with an increase in symptoms, it is maybe growing even more and let's get it out in time like you did to avoid facial nerve trouble.
God bless you, Blags, and every one of us here. Millie
