Title: Clicking Sounds in My Head

Has anyone experienced the clicking sounds in their head after surgery?  I had it a lot when I first got home, but they've started again.  I seems like I feel the click too, so I didn't think it was part of the tinnitus.  I only get it when I walk.

Hi Lisa yes I get the clicking sound but I thought it was part of my tinnitus I notice it more when I'm in bed.  After having my AN removed and then having a BAHA fitted at one point I had a vision of my skull quietly shattering lol

Because I can actually feel the clicking, I don't believe it is part of my tinnitus.  But you never know.  I just don't want there to be a crack in my skull that's clicking away. :-\

Please let us know what you find out.  Just to clarify, this sound is not in your ear but in your head?  I have crackling in my ear at times.

I can't explain what it is. However, I had a lot of clicking the first 2 weeks after surgery. It was so loud that my wife could hear it  - if she was very  close. Therefore - my clicking at least - it is not tinnitus related. I have had the clicking a few times since then but not on a regular basis. Today, I played golf (only 12 holes) and afterwards I have had some clicking. My surgery was 8/8/12.
