Well, just got my surgery date, September 25, 2012 at Jefferson Neuroscience Hospital, don't know what time yet. Have to go next week for pre admission testing and another MRI. I have been waiting to know when the date was, now the butterflies are in my stomach. :o Will be retrosigmoid procedure.

Hi and thanks for letting us know. It sure makes it more real when the date is set. You did a good job listening to your body in diagnosing the tumor and you will do a great job at listening to your body while you heal from surgery. There is a lot of wisdom on this list. I hope you ask whatever questions you have that might help you feel less anxious. With caring, Karen

I responded to your FB post. I too had retro. 6 months post op here. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask. I was a wreck. I also post how people felt or thought of when they first woke up. If you want to do a search you can find it.

Thank you Jan! I just had all my preop stuff done yesterday with medical and cardiac clearance, MRI for OR, etc. Now just have to wait for the day before surgery to get my time. Everything is moving along quickly now. Yesterday went so smoothly with all my appointments and tests. I pray for my surgery to be the same way. =) Thanks again everyone for your prayers, well wishes and comments. :D
