Title: Am I "reaching"?

....or is this good news??? I have the left side facial paralysis and, of course, the left eye doesn't close...except when I sleep. BUT....I woke up this morning and I can blink my left eye on command. It isn't staying shut but I can open and close on demand. Is this typical in the process of recovering from this surgery????

  It sounds positive for recovery if this is a new experience.
