Title: MRI 4 yrs after CK...tumor shrinkage
Post by: goinbatty on July 14, 2012, 08:58:03 pm
I finally got the report addendem with measurements of 8.1 x 7 mm.  Finally some tumor shrinkage.  Sure took awhile!  Unless something whacky occurs, I'll likely wait 2 yrs before considering repeating the MRI but plan to continue with yearly audiograms.  Thankfully, my brain is still visible - HA!!  Lately I was beginning to wonder.
Take care,
Sandra

Hi, Sandra ~

Congratulations on finally seeing the beginnings of tumor shrinkage.  It strongly resisted but finally gave up.  You win!  :)

It's amazing how long it took.  Who knows, let's hope one day it will be gone but I'm not going to spend anymore time worrying about it.  May it RIP.

Wow!  I learn more and more on this forum!  I thought they zapped you with a gammaknife or cyberknife, and the thing started dying then and there.  I didn't realize it could take a year or two or three to  shrink.  Thank you so much, Goinbatty, and kudos on your courage!

Hey, Sandra! Good to hear from you, and great to hear about good results.  I get my 2.5 year MRI in September, but have no reason to think I'll get anything but good news as well.

My balance is a little better than when I saw you at the support group.  Might see you again in October?  Take care

LOL, this was cute! I know what you mean, sometimes I wonder if the doc didn't cut a bit too close to my brain and take some of it out along with my tumor! Anyways, congrats on the shrinkage...keep it going and let us know how it goes!
