Title: Have surgery date

Surgery July 5....metronics cat scan at 5 am surgery prep starts at 6 am.  Am ready and optomistic.

I guess congrats are in order here? At least you have a date, a focal point. I psyched myself (I had translab) for the worst pain ever and had none BUT I did have the spinning and nausua for 24 hrs after and of course the balance issues continue. Thankfully the facial nerve wasn't affected at all and Dr Kesser took great care around that.

I was real ancy 2 or so weeks leading up to surgery. Couldn't sit still for anything. I never had nervousness about the surgery or my surgeon. I was focused on post-surgical stuff.

You will do and be fine. I wish you an uncomplicated surgery and uneventful recovery  8)

Norfolk general (Virginia)...have a great neurosurgeon that I have good history with and ENT that she has faith in.  Good luck with your procedure!
