Hello:
I'm posting to recommend a movie called, "The Music Never Stopped." (from the author of the book AWAKENINGS)
I would like to share with AN patients a flick most of you can relate and identify. Many of you people may have seen this DVD to escape, pass-time, get your mind off yourself and problems.
This is a heart-warming film (based on a true story) featuring music from, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead. The Beatles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Buffalo Springfield and The Rolling Stones.
This is a "touching tale" about a guy diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury that leaves him thinking he's still in 1968. (in the midst of Vietnam, acid tests and psychedelic music) Through a music therapist the person is able to express himself via the artists that defined a generation.
When you watch this film, I hope you appreciate the message of how tragedy has later brought the family close together.
Special Features: Audio Commentary with Director Jim Kohlberg, Interviews with Author Oliver Sacks, Cast Interview, Deleted Scenes and Trailers.
I won't list the actors however I'll say their work is quite acomplished.
This movie "honors the ability of music to heal."
Enjoy,
Palace

No thanks.
Don't need movies about tragedies.
Unless they are the kind where the aliens are invading the planet.
And we usually win those.
The President's speech in Indepence Day was quite inspirational.
