I just had my 6 month post-CK follow up which included MRI and hearing test. My tumor (kids named "Ike") appears to be dying and my hearing is pretty much unchanged. Great news, even though hearing in my right ear is not very useful and I have tinnitus 24-7. But this was the case prior to CK treatments. Overall, I feel great. My AN has not really slowed me down and neither have the CK treatments. My Next follow up will be in October...

Thanks for the kind words Phy!
Given my circumstances, I feel like I made the right choice with CK and it is always nice to hear about the long term successful outcomes of others.
Deciding on treatment type (surgery vs radiation) and when to do it can be agonizing. It was the most difficult part for me. Looking back on the process I am just grateful that I actually had choice.
This forum has been, and continues to be, a very valuable resource with lots of kind people sharing their stories....I am very grateful for it!
Cheers,
Mike
