Hello, In the last few months, I have noticed a change in my vision (or maybe it's comprehension). I sometimes see a phrase and translate the letters in different order. I have never had this problem before.
I am not sure this is an AN issue or whether I just need to have my vision examined. Has anyone else had a similar symptom?

MVD,
I have experienced changes in my vision. Some based on aging (bifocals), some on dryness, some on inability to close my eye totally. There are many issues but it all leads to unequal focus. Pre-AN I was very good at proofreading my writing but now I have to re-read everything several times and I still make typos. I have noticed in reading things that sometimes words appear differently when I read them a second time.
Just wanted you to know you are not the only one to experience this.

You're at an age where vision starts to change significantly, for most of us anyhow.
I've had lots of atypical vision changes, most likely related to the AN. The specialist at the university hospital said she couldn't tell the exact origins of my problems, but that it "was clear my brain wasn't working well with my eyes." Duh . . . I knew that much before I went through all those expensive tests.

What about focus/time of day issues? I feel stupid calling to get an eye appointment only to find out it was either the time of day or the moisture (or lack of) in my eye. Is it worth getting my eyes checked anyway and see if I can get some glasses that actually WORK?
