Update on Chris....
Hello from Pittsburgh...
1. Chris's fever has finally broke. The heart rate has come down to 96-low 100's.
2. Swalow test shows he is doing pretty well but want to try again tomorrow and do barium study before n/g tube is removed.
3. Bood pressure beginning to normalize.
4. This is the day of maximum swelling and he seems good but a little drowsy. He didn't get very far with physical therapy today, wants to sleep.
5. All CT SCans looking good.
6. He still has wires everywhere and still in neuro-ICU
7. Vocal cord scope all good.
8. Expect nerve graft in 1 month for facial nerve and gold weight in eye any day now.
9. Don't know about balance and walking yet, too soon.
10. bad headaches...meds make him sleepy.
