Title: mesh issues

Has anyone had trouble with the mesh protruding through the skin?  Was told by the nurse when I phoned the doctor's office that it sounded like a trip to the OR would be necessary.  Had AN surgery June 2009 and BAHA surgery Nov 2010.

I've heard of patients having problems with the mesh, like allergic reactions - in which case the mesh had to be removed - but I've never heard of this.
