Not familiar with with this description ...... but am so very delighted for you that the MRI showed no regrowth. Did you suddenly develop hyperacussis recently or have you had it all along?

You understand bundled I’m sure...not delineated suggests they’re not defined or clearly outlined in the imagine...!?! Ask you Doctor to be sure!

Hi;
The nerves are separately bundled. The 7th ( facial ) has branches while the 8th ( auditory/vestibular ) has the two vestibular branches and auditory nerve bundled in myelin sheath inside the skull after the passing through the IAC.
Yes; The nerves ( 7th and 8th ) are delineated, but not individually so. They pass through the IAC and skull side by side touching, but, travel different directions and are not bound together.
Clear as mud, yes? : )

My AN was on my 7th and 8th cranial nerves.

Hi;
Yes, commonly so, the part in the IAC. The nerves are not wrapped in myelin ( contains schwann ) there but surrounded by just schwann cells.
