Title: Good News!
Post by: formula30 on April 08, 2011, 07:10:12 pm
Well I had gamma knife done on September 21, 2010, not many problems, then I had a MRI done at 3 months, it showed some swelling........which the neurosurgeon said might be a little early, so we would have another done in three months just to keep an eye on it.  I took decadron for ten days prior to the second MRI, no real problems from the steroids and they seemed to relieve some of my symptoms.  Now I had the next MRI at six months, and the radiology report says it is stable, showing some decrease in size in the center.  I couldn't be happier.........  I will be seeing the neurosurgeon in May, and I hope after looking at the scan he feels the same way.............. it is a relief to know that the gamma knife may be controlling this little bugger and nothing more will have to be done.  ;D
