Title: A Very Informative A.N. Story
Post by: Crazycat on June 21, 2006, 09:58:28 pm
Hi everyone!

Just came across this story written by a fellow A.N. patient. It's a good read and I heartily suggest we all take a look at it!

Here's the link:   http://anseattle.org//storiestranslab.html

Hi!

I originally posted this last June. I've moved it to the forefront because I think it's a very important story and I don't want Newbies to miss it.
Not only does it demonstrate how lucky we are to be going through this dilemma in our modern age of medicine, but it underscores how critically important it is to remain constantly vigilant with Acoustic Neuroma, i.e.: MRIs' every six months to a year and so on....

My next MRI is in early November. My last one was in late May. I have a return visit with my neurotologist Friday morning. My surgery was last Sept. 21st - coming up on a year.

I am so having my MRI this year!  Dr "Hits" as He is called by everyone at House, or just "Hits" is truely a remarkable surgeon. He's gotta be in his seventies and has absolutely massive huge hands. How he gets 'em in our lil pea brains is a miracle. Anyone who has their sugery done by him is in good hands for sure.

Hey, Remember that slogan for Prudential Insurance? "The good hands people".  Wild Kingdom with Marlon Perkins.
