Title: odd facial symptom - anyone else with the same?

hi - i have had radiotherapy for my AN, and i had some facial twitching before treatment, and a lot more since.
i have noticed that the lower part of my face goes into spasm when i screw up my left eye; and when i sneeze my eye seems to go into spasm.
anyone else have this? i know it is not a problem, just curious really.

Hi Vikki:  Nice to meet you.  I didn't have radiation, but it sounds like possibly synkinesis ?  It's common post op for those who had some paralysis
& start having movement again.  I haven't heard of it post radiation.  Have you spoken with your neurologist about it ?

Pls look for users tsl and elliemae...... both had Proton Radiation in Boston and have run into facial issues...

hi thank you for the replies. i was wondering about synkinesis too.
at the risk of showing my complete ignorance - is there any way of finding posts by tls and elliemae apart from trawling through the fora?
