Title: in d.c.

Have any of you been treated in the Washington, DC area?  What doctors have you used?  I have seen Drs. Niparko and Tamargo at Johns Hopkins and I'm scheduled for yet another opinion with Dr. Jeff Jacobson at the Washington Hospital Center.

When I was diagnosed two years ago, my otolaryngologist and primary care physician recommended treatment outside the area.  The otolaryngologist recommended House first and closer in, Hopkins and UVA.  There are a number of members of the metro DC support group who have surgery locally -- if the timing works out for you, you should come to the next meeting -- which I think is going to be in September.

if I remember correctly GM is from that area and had treatment up that way...do a search on the boards for his name and email him for his opinion..maybe he can put his new bride down for a few minutes to answer!
