Title: Prayers for Dr. Doug
Post by: suboo73 on October 19, 2010, 04:48:13 am
While visiting with my brother & his wife in Colorado, they made me aware that their dear friend, Dr. Doug is not doing well.
Dr. Doug is a radiation oncologist, someone some of us may go to visit for treatments.
He has cancer (stage 4?) and has just returned for the Mayo Clinic after some treatments they hope will help.
He has been in remission several times.  But now the previous treatments are no longer working.

A simple request - please say a prayer for Dr. Doug.  My brother says he is a super guy, wonderful friend, and great doc.

Bless each one who reads this request.

Sincerely,
Sue

I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers, it seems like nobody is exempt even if they help others with cancer...

Sue ~

Unfortunately, cancer seems to be the Great Equalizer in that it touches people from all walks of life regardless of age, race, gender, social position or personal attributes.  I think 'Dr. Doug' being a radiation oncologist is ironic but I'm deeply sorry to learn of yet another person battling cancer. I will certainly pray for this man.  Thanks for asking.

Jim

Thank you all for your prayers for Dr. Doug.
I will give you updates as they become available.
My sis-in-law said there is a small chance that the 'markers' are showing improvements.

Thank you again, for all your combined prayers for this special person.

Sincerely,

Sue
