Reg ~
Welcome back - but I'm sorry to learn that you're still experiencing unpleasant sensations that may be related to the AN surgery. Unfortunately, nerve damage related to AN surgery - present even years later - is not unknown. However, the upcoming tests should help locate the actual source of the problem so that it can be properly addressed.

Cin beat me to the punch. Neurontin (or generic Gabepentin) may work well for you. Ask your doctor about that. Sorry to hear you have had so much trouble.
