Relax and don't worry about it. 8)
Also, if they give you steroids to avoid swelling reactions, watch what you eat, it can increase your appetite. Step away from those cookies!

I just finished my 3 CK treatments Thursday. It didn't hurt at all, it wasn't scary. I snoozed through most of it.
No after effects thus far, except maybe some pressure feeling on AN side, more tinnitus on and off, and fatigue. I'm hoping to return to work tomorrow.
My advice - lots of rest, and let folks help you. Hope your experience goes as easily as mine!

I had MR result after seven months from the Cyberknyfe experience and seems the growth as stopped.
Good bless you all ! Max

Maxama,
I had a wonderful mentor whose name is Lorenzo. He took me under his wing and was my coach. Lor is now my close and very trusted friend.
Four years ago at the very end of November and into December I took a CD to listen while I had Cyberknife. You'll have your custom mask made and the rest is history.
Yes, expect fatique and mine lasted one year. The first week I couldn't tolorate sunshine on my head at all. It felt like a burning sensation with my head and hair on fire.
I didn't take the steroid pill I was given.
Stanford called yesterday afternoon. The doctor wasn't there and my latest MRI will be read by her next week. They will have to call Dominican MRI Center as the measurements couldn't be read for some reason. I was told that it appears my tumor is close if not exactly like last year.
I didn't want the Gadolinium injected into me or pay more monies out. Paul on this forum has his MRI every year at the same time mine is due. I warned him on the telephone in early October about Gad" and to make sure he would drink copious amounts of water right after the MRI with contrast. I spoke to him about the dangers of this and why I wanted to postpone my MRI for six more months.
He posted on this subject for us both and to warn others. It's all there under the related thread.
