Well, Im officially back in W & W...MRI showed tumor at 16mm in Oct/09 and 13mm Feb/10...Now the radiologist said that the tumor is stable and not really shrunk as that would be unexplainable, given the fact no radiation has been used. He said its just the way the technician read it...but the good news is No Growth...so another MRI in six months. Hopefull if the bugger does decide to grow, cyberkinfe should be in place in Ottawa, Ont. soon..

hey Jo!
well, sounds like that pesky "total margin of error" for head MRI's is in play with you (give or take 1mm). BUT, the great news is... it isn't growing and let's hope it continues to stay as is! :) "Reads" of head MRI's are a reason for "total margin of error" as it could be the tech's read of the films, the "slices" of the views, the MRI equipment used, etc....as you already well know.... so, congrats on no further growth and know I'm cheering you on!
Hang in there!

I'll be uncharacteristically brief and simply offer my sincere congratulations on your excellent MRI report. :)

I'm with "Dr. Gerrard".
I may be wrong, but I don't think this is something you really have to worry about.

As a fellow W+W happy to hear your stable status. I guess this is the best news (other than reduction) we can get. If our symptoms aren`t bad we can hope to go along without intervention indefinately. With a little luck if your pesonality fits the criteria of living with this maybe its growth pattern has stopped. In any case stay healthy and monitor to be prepared to take whatever course of action necessary. Best Wishes, Mickey
