I posted a little over a week ago regarding my tumor regrowth. I had an ANA removed at the HEC in 1999. I finally went for an MRI in 2009 to learn, after sending the MRI’s to the HEC that there was a 3 mm something, fat, scar tissue, AN tumor in my head. This year I repeated the MRI. My PCP calls and reads the radiologist report which states it was at 6 mm. Again I sent the film to the HEC and Dr. Brackman called me to state that he and his radiologist see no change from the last MRI. I was shocked, and thrilled. I thought the margin of error was small in readings MRI’s but I guess not.
To the person who was questioning if she should send the MRI’s to the HEC the answer is YES!
So, I had decided on CK, or was close to that decision, and was strongly advised by the HEC not to do this.
