We're about to graduate from our big year!
;D ;D ;D
I must say, though I'm happier having it behind me than in front of me, 2009 was easier than 2008. Being undiagnosed, confused and miserable (2008) was a *lot* worse than surgery (2009) -- even my cross-country, double translab-mf surgery!
I've said my thanks elsewhere, but special props to my surgical "big sister" Alicia who was just ahead of me in spring 2009 and gave me so much counseling on what to expect!

Thanks Lilan
Seen as I will be in the Treatment class of 2010 and 2009 couldn't have been much worse, I look forward to my recovery now. I am still scared to death of what will happen to me though!

I guess I count as one of the class of 2009. It has been a very difficult year for me (for several reasons), so I'm ready to see 2010. May it bring health and happiness for us all!

"May it bring health and happiness for us all!"
I'll second that Lynn. And, I pray that our follow-up MRIs are tumor-free!
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to the 'Class of 2009' from a member of the 'Class of 2006'. There is definitely light at the end of that proverbial tunnel....probably to be fully realized in 2010. :)

Brian...YOU feel old? I have to write 'Class of 1995' - talk about an OLDIE!! I told someone last night that ANY year I don't have to have some sort of surgery is a GOOD year!! :D

Kay,
You look great in your advanced (AN) age! ;)
So, the symposium is more like a multi-year reunion, right?

I'm late, but I'm here ;) So glad to have graduated Lilan!! I've never had a little sister, so I'm proud to say the least! Glad we were able to share those times together!!! Here's hoping for no regrowth! All the best to everyone on this journey! Alicia
